Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Energy & Utilities and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which rose 9.94% or 3.15 points to trade at 34.85 at the close. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) added 9.80% or 3.15 points to end at 35.30 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180) was up 9.31% or 1.72 points to 20.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Fisheries Co. (TADAWUL:6050), which lost 7.90% or 1.74 points to trade at 20.28 in late trade. Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130) declined 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.12 and The Saudi Investment Bank (TADAWUL:1030) shed 2.22% or 0.28 points to 12.34.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 213 to 85 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.95% or 1.50 to $75.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.80% or 1.46 to hit $79.58 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 2.16% or 53.80 to trade at $2,546.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.37% to 4.14, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 102.31.
