Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Transport, Insurance and Telecoms & IT sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240), which rose 10.00% or 2.70 points to trade at 29.70 at the close. Saudi Ground Services Co (TADAWUL:4031) added 9.87% or 4.60 points to end at 51.20 and AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140) was up 8.93% or 1.44 points to 17.56 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (TADAWUL:2350), which lost 2.65% or 0.22 points to trade at 8.09 in late trade. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:4140) declined 2.48% or 0.56 points to end at 21.98 and Nayifat Finance Co (TADAWUL:4081) shed 2.46% or 0.32 points to 12.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 190 to 97 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.24% or 0.19 to $79.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.46% or 0.38 to hit $81.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 6.70 to trade at $2,510.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.11, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 102.89.
