Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Agriculture & Food, Hotels & Tourism and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300), which rose 4.60% or 0.42 points to trade at 9.56 at the close. Saudi Public Transport Co. (SE:4040) added 3.75% or 0.53 points to end at 14.68 and Herfy Food Services Co (SE:6002) was up 3.69% or 1.71 points to 48.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which lost 2.66% or 0.63 points to trade at 23.08 in late trade. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) declined 2.16% or 0.71 points to end at 32.15 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) shed 1.58% or 0.34 points to 21.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 108 to 71 and 6 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.76% or 0.44 to $57.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.50% or 0.32 to hit $63.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1295.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.07% to 4.4585, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 92.98.
