Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Building & Construction, Agriculture & Food and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.41% to hit a new 3-year high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270), which rose 6.60% or 7.00 points to trade at 113.00 at the close. Lazurde for Jewelry Co (SE:4011) added 5.68% or 0.94 points to end at 17.48 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 4.73% or 0.40 points to 8.85 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Ground Services Co (SE:4031), which lost 2.15% or 0.65 points to trade at 29.55 in late trade. Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) declined 2.03% or 1.20 points to end at 57.90 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) shed 1.98% or 0.22 points to 10.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 90 to 79 and 18 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.29% or 0.19 to $65.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.35% or 0.26 to hit $74.83 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 4.15 to trade at $1283.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.1799, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.817.
