Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Agriculture & Food and Hotels & Tourism sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301), which rose 6.09% or 0.97 points to trade at 16.90 at the close. Methanol Chemicals Company (SE:2001) added 4.17% or 0.36 points to end at 9.00 and Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (SE:2350) was up 3.72% or 0.37 points to 10.32 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which lost 4.20% or 0.92 points to trade at 20.96 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 2.60% or 0.190 points to end at 7.120 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) shed 2.36% or 1.46 points to 60.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 83 and 7 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.79% or 0.46 to $58.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.33% or 0.86 to hit $65.55 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1245.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.02% to 4.4126, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 93.87.
