Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.06% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Herfy Food Services Co (TADAWUL:6002), which rose 9.92% or 2.40 points to trade at 26.60 at the close. CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) added 8.97% or 3.30 points to end at 40.10 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8230) was up 6.59% or 13.40 points to 216.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (TADAWUL:8270), which lost 2.82% or 0.68 points to trade at 23.42 in late trade. Raydan Co (TADAWUL:6012) declined 2.66% or 0.80 points to end at 29.25 and Ataa Educational Co (TADAWUL:4292) shed 2.30% or 1.70 points to 72.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 174 to 122 and 22 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.47% or 0.34 to $72.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.55% or 0.42 to hit $76.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 10.00 to trade at $2,537.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.16% to 4.18, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 101.18.
