Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Transport, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which rose 8.33% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.13 at the close. Miahona Holding SCJSC (TADAWUL:2084) added 7.53% or 2.20 points to end at 31.40 and Al Kathiri Holding Co (TADAWUL:3008) was up 6.25% or 0.17 points to 2.89 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030), which lost 5.78% or 1.85 points to trade at 30.15 in late trade. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) declined 2.41% or 0.70 points to end at 28.30 and Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240) shed 1.90% or 0.46 points to 23.74.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 158 to 123 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.02% or 0.02 to $81.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.13% or 0.11 to hit $84.55 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.80% or 18.90 to trade at $2,386.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.06, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 104.74.
