Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 2.38% or 15.0 points to trade at 645.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 0.70% or 60.0 points to end at 8640.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.67% or 100.0 points to 15000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.54% or 35.0 points to trade at 1345.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 1.33% or 360.0 points to end at 26720.0 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 1.27% or 140.0 points to 10920.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.58% or 0.75 to $129.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.16% or 3.00 to hit $1870.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.74 to trade at $1265.94 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.37% to 2940.75, while BRL/COP rose 0.16% to 924.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.98.
