Investing.com – Portugal equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI declined 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI were Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS), which rose 1.88% or 0.09 points to trade at 4.89 at the close. Nos SGPS SA (ELI:NOS) added 0.70% or 0.03 points to end at 3.60 and Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS) was up 0.55% or 0.04 points to 7.26 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ren Redes Energeticas Nacionais SGPS SA (ELI:RENE), which lost 0.84% or 0.02 points to trade at 2.36 in late trade. Galp Energia Nom (ELI:GALP) declined 0.78% or 0.15 points to end at 18.99 and Corticeira Amorim (ELI:CORA) shed 0.67% or 0.06 points to 8.83.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.48% or 1.15 to $78.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.99% or 1.48 to hit $76.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 16.35 to trade at $2,554.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.36% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.28% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.27% at 101.27.
