Investing.com – Peru equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the S&P Lima Juniors, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca (LM:POM), which rose 11.85% or 0.016 points to trade at 0.151 at the close. Sociedad Minera el Brocal SAA (LM:BRO) added 2.88% or 0.300 points to end at 10.700 and Cem Pacasmayo (LM:CPA) was up 1.83% or 0.150 points to 8.350 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Panoro (LM:PML), which lost 8.88% or 0.023 points to trade at 0.236 in late trade. Candente Copper (LM:DNT) declined 4.76% or 0.0040 points to end at 0.0800 and Ferreyros (LM:FER) shed 3.42% or 0.070 points to 1.980.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 13 and 8 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.56% or 0.27 to $48.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $54.27 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.79 to trade at $1336.49 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was unchanged 0.00% to 3.2330, while EUR/PEN unchanged 0.00% to 3.8687.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 91.89.
