Investing.com – Peru equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking & Financials, Non-Metal Minerals and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General declined 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Atacocha (LM:ATB), which rose 3.57% or 0.020 points to trade at 0.580 at the close. Ferreyros (LM:FER) added 3.38% or 0.080 points to end at 2.450 and Volcan Minera (LM:VOL_pb) was up 3.25% or 0.040 points to 1.270 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Credicorp (LM:BAP), which lost 2.32% or 4.76 points to trade at 200.30 in late trade. Grana Y Monter (LM:GRA) declined 1.64% or 0.030 points to end at 1.800 and Sider (LM:SID) shed 1.52% or 0.007 points to 0.453.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 8 and 11 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.22% or 0.13 to $58.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.25% or 0.16 to hit $64.72 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1270.40 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.05% to 3.2675, while EUR/PEN fell 0.47% to 3.8693.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 92.84.
