Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN), which rose 35.00% or 28 points to trade at 108 at the close. Victoria Insurance Tbk PT (JK:VINS) added 19.59% or 58 points to end at 354 and Darya-Varia Laboratoria Tbk (JK:DVLA) was up 17.28% or 330 points to 2240 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Mitraniaga Tbk (JK:NAGA), which lost 28.74% or 50 points to trade at 124 in late trade. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 25.00% or 34 points to end at 102 and Intraco Penta Tbk (JK:INTA) shed 21.33% or 96 points to 354.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 235 to 92 and 94 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.71% or 0.34 to $48.00 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.77% or 0.39 to hit $50.85 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.65 to trade at $1255.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 13315.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.58% to 9955.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 98.97.
