Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media, Transport and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 1.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG), which rose 1.48% or 16.00 points to trade at 1,098.00 at the close. Storebrand ASA (OL:STB) added 1.21% or 1.40 points to end at 117.40 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NAS) was up 1.20% or 0.14 points to 11.82 in late trade.
Biggest losers included TGS NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS), which lost 5.51% or 5.75 points to trade at 98.65 in late trade. Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:BORR) declined 5.25% or 3.15 points to end at 56.80 and Hoegh Autoliners ASA (OL:HAUTO) shed 5.13% or 7.00 points to 129.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 175 to 100 and 29 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.54% or 3.50 to $73.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.42% or 3.58 to hit $77.35 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.92% or 24.50 to trade at $2,641.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.67% to 11.76, while USD/NOK rose 0.75% to 10.72.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.33.
