Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Media, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 13.83% or 1.39 points to trade at 11.44 at the close. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) added 6.72% or 4.65 points to end at 73.85 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 2.48% or 4.9 points to 202.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG), which lost 2.38% or 3.70 points to trade at 152.00 in late trade. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) declined 2.16% or 0.33 points to end at 14.92 and Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA) shed 1.47% or 2.7 points to 180.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 95 to 79 and 29 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.40% or 0.19 to $47.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.23% or 0.12 to hit $52.16 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.41 to trade at $1296.41 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.17% to 9.2376, while USD/NOK fell 0.83% to 7.7778.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 92.69.
