Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences and Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:KOG), which rose 3.16% or 38.00 points to trade at 1,242.00 at the close. Hafnia Ltd (OL:HAFNI) added 2.35% or 1.40 points to end at 61.05 and Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) was up 2.28% or 5.00 points to 224.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGL), which lost 3.34% or 4.50 points to trade at 130.15 in late trade. Tomra Systems ASA (OL:TOM) declined 2.79% or 4.10 points to end at 142.80 and Nel ASA (OL:NEL) shed 2.46% or 0.09 points to 3.44.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 159 to 121 and 26 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $69.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $73.32 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 14.00 to trade at $2,628.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.30% to 11.62, while USD/NOK fell 0.13% to 10.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.05% at 106.15.
