Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Materials, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX added 0.16% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 2.66% or 0.30 points to trade at 11.60 at the close. BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) added 1.79% or 0.61 points to end at 34.60 and Leroy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 1.25% or 0.7 points to 52.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL), which lost 2.50% or 1.01 points to trade at 39.45 in late trade. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) declined 1.08% or 0.01 points to end at 1.10 and Nordic Nanovector ASA (OL:NANOV) shed 1.03% or 0.85 points to 81.45.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 97 to 76 and 34 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.60% or 0.30 to $50.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.42 to hit $55.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.96 to trade at $1312.76 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.08% to 9.3563, while USD/NOK fell 0.35% to 7.8060.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 91.62.
