Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Beverage, Real Estate and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Marocaine Ste de Therapeutique SA (CSE:SOT), which rose 9.97% or 96.00 points to trade at 1,059.00 at the close. Auto Hall (CSE:ATH) added 9.17% or 6.30 points to end at 75.00 and Involys (CSE:INV) was up 3.94% or 4.00 points to 105.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:SRM), which lost 6.98% or 37.00 points to trade at 493.00 in late trade. IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) declined 5.71% or 2.27 points to end at 37.50 and Ennakl Automobiles (CSE:NKL) shed 4.12% or 1.51 points to 35.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 27 to 23 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.46% or 2.38 to $66.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.03% or 2.18 to hit $69.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 7.20 to trade at $2,539.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.08% to 10.75, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.00% to 9.73.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 101.68.
