Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Beverage, Oil & Gas and Distributors sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Micro Data SA (CS:MIC), which rose 6.48% or 17.95 points to trade at 295.00 at the close. BMCI (CS:BMCI) added 6.17% or 56 points to end at 958 and Maghreb Oxygene (CS:OXYG) was up 5.99% or 8.45 points to 149.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Stroc Industrie (CS:STR), which lost 9.97% or 3.39 points to trade at 30.60 in late trade. Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA) declined 7.52% or 96.0 points to end at 1181.0 and Auto Nejma (CS:NEJ1) shed 5.98% or 133 points to 2091.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 18 to 16 and 3 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.68% or 0.44 to $65.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.54% or 0.41 to hit $74.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 5.70 to trade at $1303.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.06% to 11.1010, while USD/MAD fell 0.08% to 9.4777.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 93.84.
