Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Beverage and Mining sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Promopharm S.A. (CS:PRO), which rose 9.19% or 101 points to trade at 1200 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) added 7.70% or 6.90 points to end at 96.50 and SMI (CS:SMI) was up 5.47% or 145 points to 2795 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sonasid (CS:SOND), which lost 6.22% or 20 points to trade at 300 in late trade. Med Paper (CS:PAP) declined 4.93% or 0.96 points to end at 18.53 and M2M Group (CS:M2M) shed 3.90% or 11.70 points to 288.30.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 22 to 14 and 13 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.69% or 0.35 to $50.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.71% or 0.37 to hit $51.66 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1256.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.07% to 10.8230, while USD/MAD rose 0.36% to 9.8450.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.35% at 97.87.
