Investing.com – Morocco equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Food Producers & Processors, Construction & Building Materials and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares gained 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were BMCI (CS:BMCI), which rose 6.69% or 47 points to trade at 750 at the close. M2M Group (CS:M2M) added 4.07% or 19.00 points to end at 486.00 and Sonasid (CS:SOND) was up 2.82% or 15 points to 533 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atlanta (CS:ATL), which lost 4.96% or 3.05 points to trade at 58.50 in late trade. Residences Dar Saada SA (CS:RDS) declined 4.88% or 5.00 points to end at 97.50 and Jet Contractors (CS:JET) shed 4.38% or 14.40 points to 314.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 12 and 11 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.22% or 0.16 to $71.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.64% or 0.52 to hit $81.30 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.16% or 2.00 to trade at $1232.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.02% to 10.9300, while USD/MAD fell 0.07% to 9.4351.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.69.
