Investing.com – Italy equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 fell 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Bper Banca SpA (BIT:EMII), which rose 1.33% or 0.08 points to trade at 5.77 at the close. DiaSorin SpA (BIT:DIAS) added 0.89% or 0.89 points to end at 100.55 and Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (BIT:ISP) was up 0.87% or 0.04 points to 4.07 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Iveco Group NV (BIT:IVG), which lost 3.20% or 0.31 points to trade at 9.39 in late trade. STMicroelectronics (BIT:STMMI) declined 3.06% or 0.76 points to end at 24.10 and Amplifon (BIT:AMPF) shed 2.74% or 0.71 points to 25.17.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 330 to 183 and 37 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.50% or 1.74 to $71.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.33% or 1.70 to hit $74.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.22% or 5.95 to trade at $2,743.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.44% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.40% at 103.78.
