Investing.com – Italy equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Travel & Leisure, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Tenaris SA (BIT:TENR), which rose 1.44% or 0.19 points to trade at 13.37 at the close. Hera (BIT:HRA) added 1.15% or 0.04 points to end at 3.52 and Pirelli & C SPA (BIT:PIRC) was up 0.62% or 0.03 points to 5.53 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Leonardo SpA (BIT:LDOF), which lost 7.23% or 1.66 points to trade at 21.30 in late trade. DiaSorin SpA (BIT:DIAS) declined 2.88% or 3.00 points to end at 101.00 and Telecom Italia (BIT:TLIT) 1.71% or 0.00 points to 0.24.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 250 to 211 and 31 ended unchanged on the Milan Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.91% or 0.67 to $74.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.70% or 0.54 to hit $77.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 6.05 to trade at $2,533.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 101.62.
