Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.81%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which rose 2.30% or 1,120.00 points to trade at 49,800.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 1.00% or 890.00 points to end at 89,450.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was up 0.84% or 40.00 points to 4,830.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which lost 4.87% or 251.00 points to trade at 4,899.00 in late trade. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 3.28% or 45.00 points to end at 1,325.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) shed 3.05% or 4,390.00 points to 139,600.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 270 to 172 and 97 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.44% or 0.37 to $82.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.28% or 0.24 to hit $86.30 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 15.60 to trade at $2,382.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS fell 0.46% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 104.57.
