Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which rose 0.50% or 100 points to trade at 20110 at the close. Leumi (TA:LUMI) added 0.49% or 9 points to end at 1836 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 0.41% or 9 points to 2217 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 3.69% or 20.1 points to trade at 524.0 in late trade. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 2.37% or 510.0 points to end at 21050.0 and Partner (TA:PTNR) shed 2.06% or 37 points to 1760.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 301 to 99 and 12 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.35% or 0.63 to $45.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.33% or 0.17 to hit $51.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 7.42 to trade at $1322.72 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.23% to 3.5711, while EUR/ILS rose 0.17% to 4.2952.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 91.88.
