Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Communication and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which rose 2.31% or 134.00 points to trade at 5,944.00 at the close. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) added 2.06% or 100.00 points to end at 4,950.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 1.21% or 16.00 points to 1,340.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which lost 3.11% or 780.00 points to trade at 24,310.00 in late trade. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.91% or 1,860.00 points to end at 62,060.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) shed 2.10% or 103.00 points to 4,808.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 252 to 192 and 95 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.69% or 0.56 to $81.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.37% or 0.31 to hit $84.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 15.40 to trade at $2,383.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.43% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS fell 0.35% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.76.
