Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 1.77% or 500 points to trade at 28800 at the close. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) added 1.14% or 6.0 points to end at 531.0 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was up 0.64% or 0.3 points to 47.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which lost 2.12% or 98 points to trade at 4522 in late trade. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 2.07% or 1300 points to end at 61400 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 1.69% or 17 points to 967.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 256 to 154 and 20 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.42% or 0.22 to $52.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $57.77 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.33% or 4.17 to trade at $1276.33 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.05% to 3.4934, while EUR/ILS fell 0.22% to 4.1040.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 93.75.
