Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which rose 5.00% or 63.00 points to trade at 1,322.00 at the close. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) added 2.90% or 79.00 points to end at 2,801.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) was up 2.70% or 5,490.00 points to 208,490.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which lost 2.04% or 123.00 points to trade at 5,915.00 in late trade. Melisron (TASE:MLSR) declined 1.85% or 600.00 points to end at 31,800.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) shed 1.57% or 1,420.00 points to 88,970.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 238 to 230 and 70 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.49% or 0.33 to $68.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.43% or 0.31 to hit $72.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 16.09 to trade at $2,664.91 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.49% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 0.56% to 3.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.80% at 106.67.
