Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Banking, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Harel (TASE:HARL), which rose 5.01% or 242.00 points to trade at 5,072.00 at the close. NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE) added 3.59% or 2,340.00 points to end at 67,570.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.69% or 1,640.00 points to 98,890.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which lost 5.54% or 1,570.00 points to trade at 26,780.00 in late trade. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.02% or 4,500.00 points to end at 218,500.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) shed 1.53% or 440.00 points to 28,400.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 267 to 193 and 78 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.35% or 0.95 to $69.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.20% or 0.88 to hit $72.64 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 1.98% or 54.49 to trade at $2,702.21 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.24% to 3.57, while EUR/ILS fell 0.44% to 3.74.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 106.61.
