Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.04% or 780 points to trade at 26400 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) added 2.20% or 430 points to end at 19990 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 2.05% or 380 points to 18960 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 2.97% or 16.0 points to trade at 523.0 in late trade. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) declined 0.85% or 230 points to end at 26900 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) shed 0.75% or 0.4 points to 52.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 219 to 180 and 19 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.20% or 1.02 to $47.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.12% or 1.03 to hit $49.63 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 3.91 to trade at $1250.39 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.02% to 3.5670, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 4.1574.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 93.79.
