Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Partner (TA:PTNR), which rose 2.40% or 46 points to trade at 1960 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 2.21% or 1870 points to end at 86300 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was up 1.79% or 1.3 points to 73.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which lost 2.47% or 121 points to trade at 4784 in late trade. Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) declined 1.96% or 460 points to end at 23020 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) shed 1.30% or 250 points to 19030.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 232 to 186 and 83 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.62% or 0.31 to $50.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.51% or 0.27 to hit $52.78 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.83 to trade at $1267.27 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.5617, while EUR/ILS fell 0.54% to 3.9804.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 97.33.
