Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.36% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice (TA:NICE), which rose 2.82% or 670 points to trade at 24390 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) added 2.00% or 151.00 points to end at 7700.00 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) was up 1.99% or 320 points to 16370 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which lost 2.19% or 110 points to trade at 4920 in late trade. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 1.91% or 2000 points to end at 102600 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 1.61% or 24 points to 1465.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 190 to 151 and 115 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.34% or 0.65 to $48.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.02% or 1.14 to hit $55.16 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.60 to trade at $1187.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.9763, while EUR/ILS fell 0.36% to 4.2711.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.36% at 98.66.
