Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 3.30% or 1030.0 points to trade at 32280.0 at the close. Harel (TA:HARL) added 3.01% or 77 points to end at 2637 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) was up 1.97% or 192 points to 9927 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Shufersal (TA:SAE), which lost 1.46% or 34 points to trade at 2299 in late trade. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) declined 1.41% or 35 points to end at 2454 and Partner (TA:PTNR) shed 0.96% or 16 points to 1647.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 261 to 136 and 19 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.62% or 0.41 to $65.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.56% or 0.39 to hit $69.42 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 4.50 to trade at $1354.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.44% to 3.5015, while EUR/ILS rose 1.12% to 4.3552.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.46% at 88.69.
