Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 27.64% or 225 points to trade at 1039 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) added 18.99% or 10160 points to end at 63650 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was up 15.74% or 6.2 points to 45.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA), which lost 1.56% or 360 points to trade at 22680 in late trade. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.54% or 490 points to end at 31260 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) shed 1.45% or 106 points to 7200.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 237 to 160 and 29 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.32% or 0.81 to $62.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.14% or 0.74 to hit $65.58 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.50 to trade at $1350.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.97% to 3.5086, while EUR/ILS fell 1.08% to 4.3485.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 89.19.
