Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Biomed and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.57% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 5.59% or 80 points to trade at 1512 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 2.11% or 550 points to end at 26600 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 1.88% or 720 points to 38990 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Partner (TA:PTNR), which lost 3.12% or 44 points to trade at 1368 in late trade. Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) declined 2.70% or 11.9 points to end at 428.1 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) shed 1.25% or 31 points to 2446.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 205 to 187 and 30 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.12% or 0.08 to $64.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.51% or 1.14 to hit $74.15 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.70 to trade at $1298.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.5706, while EUR/ILS fell 0.16% to 4.1658.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.19.
