Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Communication and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.56%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 3.59% or 1120 points to trade at 32300 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 3.39% or 1040 points to end at 31750 and Gazit Globe Ltd (TA:GZT) was up 2.57% or 86 points to 3437 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.53% or 35 points to trade at 1350 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 1.67% or 124 points to end at 7306 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) shed 1.24% or 6.5 points to 517.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 252 to 134 and 32 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $61.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.85% or 0.55 to hit $64.88 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.41% or 5.60 to trade at $1349.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.5430, while EUR/ILS fell 0.63% to 4.3958.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 89.03.
