Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.48%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 3.23% or 2190 points to trade at 69990 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) added 2.85% or 89 points to end at 3210 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) was up 2.53% or 143 points to 5792 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Melisron (TA:MLSR), which lost 1.52% or 270 points to trade at 17530 in late trade. Leumi (TA:LUMI) declined 0.92% or 17 points to end at 1824 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) shed 0.83% or 4.3 points to 513.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 248 to 137 and 20 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.55% or 0.26 to $47.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.09% or 0.05 to hit $52.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.73% or 9.75 to trade at $1340.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.10% to 3.5796, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 4.2641.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 92.47.
