Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Banking, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.43%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were NICE Ltd (TASE:NICE), which rose 4.53% or 2,790.00 points to trade at 64,400.00 at the close. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) added 3.09% or 3,890.00 points to end at 129,690.00 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:MZTF) was up 2.51% or 320.00 points to 13,080.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which lost 2.42% or 660.00 points to trade at 26,580.00 in late trade. Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG) declined 1.62% or 76.00 points to end at 4,611.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) shed 1.49% or 540.00 points to 35,740.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 267 to 168 and 104 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.34% or 0.28 to $81.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.49% or 0.42 to hit $84.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.30 to trade at $2,336.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.43% to 3.77, while EUR/ILS rose 0.55% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 105.53.
