Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which rose 5.24% or 22.2 points to trade at 446.0 at the close. Shufersal (TA:SAE) added 2.42% or 52 points to end at 2200 and Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) was up 2.39% or 58 points to 2485 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Poalim (TA:POLI), which lost 2.72% or 71 points to trade at 2538 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 1.67% or 28 points to end at 1652 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) shed 1.27% or 2.0 points to 155.7.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 201 to 182 and 29 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.97% or 0.70 to $71.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.81% or 0.65 to hit $79.15 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 15.50 to trade at $1305.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.5689, while EUR/ILS rose 0.19% to 4.1858.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 93.68.
