Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Technology, Biomed and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.26% or 77 points to trade at 1885 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 4.07% or 3190 points to end at 81640 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 3.56% or 338 points to 9832 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which lost 4.06% or 189 points to trade at 4470 in late trade. Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT) declined 1.96% or 1060 points to end at 53000 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) shed 0.97% or 180 points to 18400.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 228 to 147 and 44 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.81% or 2.04 to $51.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.44% or 1.51 to hit $60.46 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 6.10 to trade at $1334.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.30% to 3.6065, while EUR/ILS fell 0.42% to 4.0526.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 97.145.
