Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.24% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:PHOE), which rose 6.70% or 245.00 points to trade at 3,902.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:NVMI) added 2.77% or 2,360.00 points to end at 87,460.00 and Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) was up 2.33% or 1,090.00 points to 47,800.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which lost 3.44% or 30.50 points to trade at 857.00 in late trade. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 3.17% or 42.00 points to end at 1,285.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) shed 2.38% or 23.10 points to 949.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 249 to 205 and 85 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.37% or 0.30 to $80.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.31% or 0.26 to hit $84.77 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 13.75 to trade at $2,434.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.67% to 3.63, while EUR/ILS rose 0.48% to 3.96.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 103.77.
