Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Insurance and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.23% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:SPNS), which rose 5.23% or 730.00 points to trade at 14,680.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 3.86% or 1,090.00 points to end at 29,330.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 3.47% or 540.00 points to 16,080.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which lost 5.91% or 358.00 points to trade at 5,699.00 in late trade. Energix (TASE:ENRG) declined 4.62% or 61.00 points to end at 1,259.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) shed 4.34% or 302.00 points to 6,650.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 240 to 207 and 92 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.64% or 0.46 to $72.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.37% or 0.28 to hit $75.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.41% or 66.25 to trade at $2,683.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.20% to 3.74, while EUR/ILS fell 1.98% to 4.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 1.60% at 104.97.
