Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Insurance, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 3.55% or 1090.0 points to trade at 31770.0 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) added 3.01% or 530 points to end at 18150 and Harel (TA:HARL) was up 2.58% or 70 points to 2784 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT), which lost 1.82% or 77 points to trade at 4150 in late trade. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.51% or 400 points to end at 26050 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) shed 1.36% or 106 points to 7665.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 197 to 175 and 41 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.15% or 0.76 to $65.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.43% or 1.10 to hit $75.69 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1299.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.24% to 3.5666, while EUR/ILS rose 0.59% to 4.1728.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.94.
