Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which rose 2.85% or 28 points to trade at 995 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) added 2.64% or 290 points to end at 11260 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 2.11% or 145 points to 7021 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 1.94% or 590 points to trade at 29900 in late trade. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) declined 1.61% or 39 points to end at 2380 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) shed 1.27% or 780 points to 60620.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 249 to 151 and 13 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.15% or 0.08 to $51.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $57.33 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.70 to trade at $1276.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.42% to 3.5082, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 4.1264.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 93.82.
