Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 3.63% or 4200 points to trade at 119800 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) added 3.46% or 254 points to end at 7605 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) was up 2.97% or 530 points to 18400 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 5.92% or 1580 points to trade at 25130 in late trade. Fattal 1998 Holdings Ltd (TA:FATTAL) declined 1.38% or 550.00 points to end at 39350.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) shed 1.29% or 5.5 points to 420.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 193 to 187 and 23 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.77% or 0.57 to $74.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.94% or 0.79 to hit $84.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.10 to trade at $1191.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.02% to 3.6427, while EUR/ILS fell 0.24% to 4.1776.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 95.56.
