Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Insurance, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which rose 3.83% or 830.0 points to trade at 22480.0 at the close. Partner (TA:PTNR) added 2.96% or 54 points to end at 1880 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 2.92% or 1900 points to 67000 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which lost 1.77% or 9.5 points to trade at 528.5 in late trade. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.41% or 420 points to end at 29430 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) shed 1.34% or 94 points to 6925.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 215 to 194 and 14 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $52.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.10% or 0.06 to hit $58.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.39% or 5.04 to trade at $1273.96 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.32% to 3.5217, while EUR/ILS fell 0.66% to 4.1204.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.80% at 94.28.
