Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Biomed, Banking and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI), which rose 1.46% or 57.00 points to trade at 3,963.00 at the close. Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) added 1.33% or 380.00 points to end at 29,030.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.25% or 1,030.00 points to 83,130.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT), which lost 6.05% or 1,790.00 points to trade at 27,800.00 in late trade. Electra Ltd (TASE:ELTR) declined 2.48% or 4,230.00 points to end at 166,300.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) shed 1.87% or 21.00 points to 1,103.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 268 to 191 and 81 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.33% or 0.23 to $69.49 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.40% or 0.29 to hit $73.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.10 to trade at $2,749.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.75, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 104.20.
