Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Industry, Manufacturing and Trade sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Golden Eagle Energy Tbk (JK:SMMT), which rose 34.55% or 57 points to trade at 222 at the close. Cakra Mineral Tbk (JK:CKRA) added 28.33% or 17 points to end at 77 and Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) was up 27.48% or 36 points to 167 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which lost 10.00% or 31 points to trade at 279 in late trade. Tigaraksa Satria Tbk (JK:TGKA) declined 9.93% or 420 points to end at 3810 and Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (JK:IMJS) shed 9.79% or 32 points to 295.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 161 to 143 and 92 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $41.52 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.05% or 0.02 to hit $41.56 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.53% or 6.60 to trade at $1250.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.12% to 13177.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.76% to 10038.20.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 95.62.
