Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Property sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite declined 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Aneka Tambang Persero Tbk (JK:ANTM), which rose 24.22% or 116 points to trade at 595 at the close. Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (JK:KOBX) added 16.41% or 21 points to end at 149 and Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk Pt (JK:BUKK) was up 11.83% or 110 points to 1040 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk (JK:YPAS), which lost 23.74% or 165 points to trade at 530 in late trade. Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) declined 11.43% or 800 points to end at 6200 and Sorini Agro Asia Corporindo (JK:SOBI) shed 10.00% or 300 points to 2700.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 189 to 137 and 46 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.67% or 0.76 to $45.92 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.72% or 0.85 to hit $50.37 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.27% or 2.90 to trade at $1092.30 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.02% to 13477.0, while AUD/IDR rose 1.21% to 9961.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 97.41.
