Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.53%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT), which rose 34.83% or 62.00 points to trade at 240.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) added 33.33% or 1.00 points to end at 4.00 and Terang Dunia Internusa PT (JK:UNTD) was up 31.63% or 31.00 points to 129.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pt Topindo Solusi Komunika (JK:TOSK), which lost 34.57% or 56.00 points to trade at 106.00 in late trade. Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ADRO) declined 24.80% or 910.00 points to end at 2,760.00 and Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:HADE) shed 20.00% or 1.00 points to 4.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 373 to 209 and 253 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.36% or 0.25 to $68.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.35% or 0.25 to hit $72.05 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.64 to trade at $2,664.16 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.06% to 15,877.00, while AUD/IDR fell 0.08% to 10,302.40.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.24% at 106.31.
