Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Mining, Trade and Miscellaneous Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI), which rose 20.19% or 105 points to trade at 625 at the close. Bank Victoria International (JK:BVIC) added 16.00% or 32 points to end at 232 and Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) was up 11.84% or 18.00 points to 170.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance PT (JK:MTWI), which lost 24.66% or 72 points to trade at 220 in late trade. Plaza Indonesia Realty Tbk (JK:PLIN) declined 21.84% or 1070 points to end at 3830 and Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (JK:EMTK) shed 13.64% or 1350 points to 8550.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 175 to 162 and 123 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.17% or 0.09 to $52.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $58.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.13 to trade at $1280.13 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.12% to 13588.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.09% to 10438.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 93.58.
